Cert IV Workplace Assessment and TrainingBranch President and Delegate, Sutherland Hospital NSWNMA Branch
NSWNMA Councillor since 2025
I am an RN with over 30 years’ experience in the public health system. I have worked in intensive care and renal nursing, in roles across education, management and clinical governance. One of my key achievements is the implementation of Between the Flags while at the Clinical Excellence Commission (CEC). During my time at the CEC, I travelled across NSW talking to nurses and midwives. What is clear is that we are the backbone of our communities. No matter where we work, we deserve reasonable workloads and appropriate resources.
I returned to my passion for direct clinical care in 2017 in the ED, where I found my colleagues working in challenging circumstances. I have proudly worked with my colleagues to build our workplace branch in size, strength and activity, and continue to advocate for services for the people who live in our communities.
I seek re-election to the NSWNMA/ANMF NSW council so that I can continue to work with members to fight for better working conditions, pay, and patient safety.
