I am an RN/CNS with many years experience, working first in Western Australia, London, then Sydney, mostly in the private sector for Ramsay Healthcare. I have worked as an RN, CNE, and CNS. I also work on a regular casual basis in the public system. 

I have held the position of Branch Secretary for six years. I’ve been an EBA bargaining rep for negotiations with Ramsay, fighting for better pay and conditions. These experiences have given me a unique understanding of the strength of the union and membership.

I have an enormous amount of drive and commitment to leave a better world to the younger generation. I have been involved with many climate groups, and continue to advocate for climate action and sustainability. The projects I have participated in include Australian Parents for Climate Action, Rising Tide, Canterbury Bankstown Climate Action, Stop Adani, and the NSWNMA climate and health reference group among others, as well as sustainability initiatives at my workplace.
