Liz McCall

  • RN, BHSc(Nursing), MHSc.

  • Teaching associate, SCU

  • Delegate, Byron Central Hospital Branch

  • ANMF Executive Councillor

I’m renominating for the NSWNMA / ANMF branch Council election on the Whaites + Bough team to continue the transformational journey we started four years ago.

As an experienced Executive Councillor, I want to guide our new team to ensure the best possible representation for all members in public, private, aged care and primary health, across professional, industrial, social and environmental issues, both current and future. I want to use my industrial and political knowledge to pursue our inclusive vision for the NSWNMA by providing member-led direction and counsel.

I’m proud that we have established the Member Circle and the Anti-Racism Collaborative, and improved the lives of NSW nurses, midwives and carers. My commitment to equality, social justice and industrial rights means that I remain actively involved in the CaLD & RAP committees, was Councillor representative to the Gender Equity Steering Committee and gave evidence at the IRC Special Case.

My passion for both nursing and midwifery continues to drive me to seek the best possible outcomes for us all, and protect our rights in all our workplaces.

how to Vote for Liz

& the whaites + bough team

Every win we’ve secured comes back to one truth: we are always stronger together.

Under the NSWNMA's current leadership of Michael Whaites and Katrina Bough, this union has continually pushed forward – fighting hard for safer workplaces, better conditions, and genuine respect for the work we do.

Now, it’s time to protect that progress and keep building a better future for our union.
