I’m a proud nurse of 24 years and midwife of 22 years. Throughout my nursing career, I worked in mental health and neonatal intensive care, and as a midwife across all areas. I have also spent over 10 years in education and management.

Nursing and midwifery can be incredibly rewarding and special professions, but only if we protect our scope of practice and continue to advance our pay and conditions.

Across the state, I’ve met dedicated nurses, midwives and carers who are committed to our professions and the people we care for. I want to make your working lives better, working for a union that looks after those who care for others. Our members deserve a strong, effective union, led by experience and determination.

Together, we’ve won pay increases, advanced ratios, highlighted the importance of primary healthcare and seen private nurses take on corporations with pride and confidence.

Having served on Council since 2009, I bring experience in risk management, legislative compliance, and governance to build on our achievements and continue fighting for profession-wide improvements.
