Since 2003, my nursing career has been spent in various metropolitan and rural emergency care settings in a diversity of roles. I have been a Councillor since 2022, as well as an Executive Councillor and Vice President since 2024. 

In my role as the President of my local workplace branch at Yass Hospital, my leadership led to unionising our members to achieve wins such as extra staffing, improved security, and the enforcement of WHS legislation.

During my time on Council, I’ve been an integral part of the leadership team that has delivered some of the most historic achievements to pay and conditions across various sections of our membership. I have also been involved in the internal transformation of the union to keep it functioning optimally and delivering for members while minimising fee increases.  

In NSW, nurses and midwives still have so much to fight for. With your support I will work tirelessly with our team to achieve the pay conditions we all deserve.
