I am a RN working as a Clinical Nurse Consultant in child and adolescent mental health, while completing my studies to become a Nurse Practitioner. I am passionate about advanced practice nursing and supporting nurses and midwives to work to the fullest extent of their skills and scope of practice.

I have extensive paediatric nursing experience across paediatric critical care, paediatric emergency and child and adolescent mental health. Having worked in major metropolitan referral hospitals and now in a regional community setting, I understand the challenges facing nurses, midwives and health services across diverse communities.

If elected to Council, I will continue to advocate for safe staffing and the extension of mandated nurse-to-patient ratios into areas such as paediatrics.

I first became involved with the NSWNMA as an undergraduate nursing student and have spent the past 15 years representing nurses, midwives and carers as both a branch and union official.

I will bring this experience and commitment to Council, continuing to advocate for safe staffing, professional recognition, strong workplace conditions, advanced practice opportunities, and a respected nursing and midwifery workforce.
